Epitome pairs 8 electrostatic and 12 balanced armature drivers per side, blending EST airiness with BA precision across the entire frequency range. Its 20-driver architecture is supported by premium through-hole components and a complex 5-way crossover, delivering smooth transitions, unified tonality, and a natural, detailed soundstage, whether you’re exploring layered orchestral pieces or intimate vocals.

Shimmering With a Flowing Brilliance
Epitome features 3D-printed shells with a three-dimensional appearance on the top panel. Under different lighting angles, the shell exhibits a gradient flickering effect, appearing like meteors streaking across the sky.
Copper Cable with Interchangeable Plug System
Epitome utilizes 0.78 2-pin earpiece plugs, compatible with all cables of the same interface. It comes with a 5N mono crystal Copper litz structure cable and features a replaceable plug system. Standard connectors include 4.4mm, 3.5mm and USB-C, which provide ideal sound whether single-ended, balanced or directly plugged into a smartphone.
New Alloy Cable
Before the launch of Epitome, a new alloy was created that consists of a special silver plated wire, which offers excellent sound performance. Since it has not undergone full durability testing, iBasso decided to offer it as a complimentary gift along with the standard cable. (This is not a warranty part.)
