The FH1s takes the popular FiiO FH1 as the starting point, but significantly improves on it by being developed around an all-new balanced armature driver.

Inside the FH1s is a specially-customized balanced armature driver co-developed by FiiO and Knowles that especially capitalizes on the strengths of BA drivers for excellent sound.
Robust bass
The dynamic driver used in the fh1s is a large 13.6mm unit with a polymer diaphragm. The larger the dynamic driver, the more it is able to provide textured, deeply extended, quick, yet robust bass that sounds extremely natural.
Precisely designed according to acoustics
The physical shape of the body and the crossovers in the FH1s have been designed by rigorously adhering to scientific principles, to be able to precisely control the sound of the drivers so that they achieve their maximum potential.
Dynamic airflow balance technology
To make sure that the dynamic driver diaphragm isn’t negative affected by unwanted airflow when being used, we built in dynamic airflow balance technology into the shell of the FH1s. This results in a pure, clean, effortless sound especially at lower frequencies, for greatly enhanced soundstage and overall sound quality.

Sharp looks from quality materials
Celluloid is a thermoplastic resin that is used to give the FH1s its characteristic look. The multiple layers of celluloid are laid on top of each other result in a vivid faceplate with rich colors and a 3D appearance.
Detachable cables
Not only does the included 0.78mm cable enhance the durability of the FH1s, it also enhances the sound. The included 3.5mm cable is made of 120 braided individual high purity monocrystalline Litz wires for better audio transmission performance.
Red/blue indicators and gold-plated connectors
The 0.78mm 2-pin connector ends have either a blue (for left) or red (for right) marks to clearly indicate which connector is for which channel. The 3.5mm headphone jack is of an elbow design, to be more durable.
Hi-Res Audio certified
The FH1s is certified by the Japan Audio Society to be capable of bringing you “Hi-Res Audio” with quality far beyond those of CDs.
