- Can I use the BlueParrott B450-XT with my smartphone and tablet?
Yes, this headset uses Bluetooth® connectivity and can be paired to any compatible Bluetooth device.
- How long does the battery last?
The battery has up to 24 hours talk time. Low battery is indicated on the product when the MFB (multi-function button) flashes red twice. When the MFB button is blue, there is 24 hours battery. There is also 500 hours standby time, when you are not using your headset.
- Can I stream music to this device?
Yes. The BlueParrott B450-XT has A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) capabilities which allow for streaming audio other than call audio, e.g., music or GPS directions.
- Can I pair this product with iPhone and Android?
Yes. The first time you turn on your BlueParrott B450-XT, it is ready to pair with your mobile phone via Bluetooth or NFC (One-Touch pairing for Android only). See the user guide for more details.
- Does it work with Windows and macOS computers?
BlueParrott Bluetooth headsets are optimized to be used with other Bluetooth devices, such as, smartphones or tablets. They are not optimized to be used directly with a computer. We cannot guarantee device performance or provide support for performance problems that may result from this.
- Does the charging cable come with the headset?
Yes, it is supplied within the pack for the BlueParrott B450-XT.
- How do I charge the headset?
You can use the USB-C cord provided in the box to connect to the adapter or auto charger.
- How long does it take to fully charge the headset?
A fully discharged battery will need approximately 3.5 hours to achieve a complete charge.
- What is the wireless range from my mobile device?
You will get up to 300ft / 100 meters of wireless range from your mobile device whilst on a softphone call or listening to music, providing there is a clear pathway between devices.
- Does this headset support Push-to-Talk?
Does this headset support Push-to-Talk? Yes, access the PTT app of your choice either via the BlueParrott mobile App (to connect to major carriers’ PTT applications) or by launching the PTT app (for cloud-based services). This headset features the customizable ParrottButtonTM which can be set up for fast access to Push-to-Talk.
- Can my headset be updated?
Yes, the BlueParrott B450-XT can receive the latest features and functions by updating your headset’s firmware. This is easily done through the BlueParrott App on your mobile device* – there’s no need to connect the headset to a computer, making it easy to get the latest headset features.
