- How does this new version of the B350-XT compare to the original product?
The new B350-XT has an extended wireless range of 300 ft / 100 meters; added VoiceControl™ which enables you to take/reject calls using your voice; an IP54 rating for dust and moisture resistance; and a more comfortable headband and ear cushion.
- Can I use the BlueParrott B350-XT with my smartphone and tablet?
Yes, this headset uses Bluetooth® connectivity and can be paired to any compatible Bluetooth device.
- How long does the battery last?
The battery has up to 24 hours talk time. Low battery is indicated on the product when the MFB (multi-function button) flashes red twice. When the MFB button is blue, there is 24 hours battery. There is also 500 hours standby time, when you are not using your headset.
- Can I stream music to this device?
Yes. The BlueParrott B350-XT has A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) capabilities which allow for streaming audio other than call audio, e.g., music or GPS directions.
- Can I pair this product with iPhone and Android?
Yes. The first time you turn on your BlueParrott B350-XT, it is ready to pair with your mobile phone via Bluetooth or NFC (One-Touch pairing for Android only). See the user guide for more details.
- Does it work with Windows and Mac computers?
BlueParrott Bluetooth headsets are optimized to be used with other Bluetooth devices, such as, smartphones or tablets. They are not optimized to be used directly with a computer. We cannot guarantee device performance or provide support for performance problems that may result from this.
- Does the charging cable come with the headset?
Yes, it is supplied within the pack for the BlueParrott B350-XT
- How do I charge the headset?
You can use the USB cord provided in the box to connect to the adapter or auto charger.
- How long does it take to fully charge the headset?
A fully discharged battery will need approximately 3.5 hours to achieve a complete charge.
- What is the wireless range from my mobile device?
You will get up to 300ft / 100 meters of wireless range from your mobile device whilst on a softphone call or listening to music, providing there is a clear pathway between devices.
- Does my headset need updating?
Yes, just like any device, the BlueParrott B350-XT will be able to receive the latest features and functions by updating your headsets firmware via USB. You can update the BlueParrott updater here.
